In Korea, the incident turned out to be quite unusual. A man in his thirties entered a bank and, threatening employees and clients, demanded to hand over a cash amount of 50,000 won (approximately 30 dollars) in advance in a prepared bag for traveling. The police reported that the clients and bank employees present at the time in the building were able to disarm him after the outburst. After this, the man was arrested just two minutes after his appearance in the bank. It later turned out that his "pistol" was actually a toy water pistol in the form of a cardboard dinosaur.
The police from Busan reported that the suspect at the moment of the arrest was in a "fabric mask and hat" and hid the toy pistol, aggressively presenting it as real weapons to threaten the employees and visitors of the bank. As reported by the police, the incident occurred on the 10th at 10:58 AM.
