The event in the Primorsky Territory will begin the annual Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum. This initiative unites the leaders of the member countries, business and academic circles for more than 30 years. Participants discuss key global economic issues, including trade, investment, technological innovation and green energy.
In the framework of the forum, it is planned to discuss a deeper integration of the member states in the areas of trade, climate change and digital transformation. The event aims to contribute to the sustainable development of the region and the transition to a clean energy future for future generations.
"We are committed to creating an innovative ecosystem that unites government, private sector, academia and civil society to find effective solutions," said the head of the organizing committee, Governor of Primorsky Krai Oleg Kozhemyako. He added that the forum will be a platform for dialogue on the most pressing geopolitical and economic issues.
Among the guests - delegations from 21 APEC member countries, including Russia, the UAE, China and others. In particular, the heads of international organizations such as the SCO and the BRICS Bank will attend in Vladivostok. The organizers note that this conference will be the basis for new strategies in the field of digitalization and green energy.
The program of the forum will last for several days and will include both plenary sessions and various side events. Participants will take part in business dialogues, such as the Eastern Economic Forum and the APEC Summit.
