Two firefighters were killed in South Korea today after a fire broke out at a refrigerated warehouse in a town in the southwest of the country. The flames intensified during rescue operations, according to authorities. South Korea's Yonhap news agency reported that the fire started around 8:25 a.m. at a warehouse of a fish processing company in the town of Wando in South Jeolla Province, prompting authorities to dispatch more than 100 firefighters to extinguish the blaze. Officials said two firefighters were trapped inside the warehouse and were later found dead.
