On Wednesday, the Seoul Central Court approved the live television broadcast of the verdict for former South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol in a case related to his attempt to impose martial law unlawfully. The session is scheduled for February 19. In January 2025, Yoon was charged with leading a rebellion after he declared martial law on December 3, 2024, despite there being no war or national emergency in the country, according to South Korea's Yonhap news agency.
