South Korea's exports rose by 36.7% in the first ten days of April compared to the same period last year. According to data released by the Korean Customs Service, the value of outbound shipments reached $25.2 billion between April 1-10, compared to $18.4 billion during the same period last year. Imports also increased by 12.7% year-on-year to reach $22.1 billion during the aforementioned period, resulting in a trade surplus of $3.1 billion, according to the data.
