Gold Medalist agency, representing the South Korean actor Kim Su Hyun, is preparing to respond with an official statement regarding recent allegations involving the star. As reported by Soompi on Thursday, the agency confirmed that the statement will be released next week, although a specific date has not been disclosed. Gold Medalist stated that they intend to restore the truth and clarify the unsubstantiated rumors clearly and conclusively. "We sincerely submit this statement for the continued goodwill and appreciate your understanding, as we work to prevent further disinformation," added the agency.
The beginning of the statement goes to YouTube channel HoverLab Inc., which claimed that Kim Su Hyun is dating actress Kim Se Ron. Gold Medalist categorically denied the allegations, stating that the agency and Kim Su Hyun himself were approached by YouTuber Li Zhin Ho to suggest that Kim Se Ron was being referred to as "completely fictitious and unsubstantiated."
"The allegations suggest that Kim Su Hyun and Kim Se Ron began a romantic relationship when she was 15, which our agency finds completely inappropriate coming off the back of a DUI case involving Kim Se Ron and that a manager from our company had tense ties with Li Zhin Ho," the agency stated.
Gold Medalist condemned these statements as "malicious" and "completely fabricated," adding that they are considering legal actions against HoverLab Inc. for the spreading of disinformation. Earlier, the agency denied the rumors about the romantic relationships in 2024, following how Kim Se Ron released an old photo with the star on Instagram Stories.
Kim Su Hyun is widely recognized for his roles in "My Love from the Star," "It's Okay to Not Be Okay," and "My Love from Another Star."
